40 Counties, 40 Days of Prayer
“The harvest is great, but the workers are few.” (Luke 10:2 NLT)
This Lent (10 February - 28 March 2027), Counties is launching “40 Counties, 40 Days of Prayer”, and we want to invite you to be part of it.
The harvest won’t pick itself
Across the UK, we are seeing an incredible shift: people are turning up to churches uninvited, opening and reading Bibles, and seeking Jesus. The harvest is ready, but are we?
During Lent, Counties will be touring the home nations with a floor-sized map of the United Kingdom and Ireland. This isn't just a visual aid; it is a catalyst for deep, intercessory prayer.
Using the directives Jesus gives us in Luke 10, these events will focus on three key actions:
Paying Attention: Recognising that the harvest is plentiful right now, right on our doorsteps.
Praying Specifically: Praying to the Lord of the harvest for our nation and asking Him to raise up and send out workers into His harvest field.
Preparing to Go: Moving from intercession to action. At each event, as we ask God to raise up workers, we will give people the opportunity to say, "I will go!"
