Connect your church, schools and community through the story of Jesus!
How long can we book Life for?
Your church or group of churches can book this high quality interactive resource for one to two weeks. Each week approximately 750 children will visit the exhibition, which has 3 ‘zones’ plus an interactive voting café, unpacked into your church building, a hall, or a similar public space.
What is the content of the exhibition?
Your churches will be helping children in your community think about Jesus as a historical person. His life foretold in prophecies; his works; biography; and teaching. The exhibition ends with a film about what Christians believe about the Easter story, and a chance for the children to relax in the Life cafe, where they will vote on their own opinions and reflect on what they’ve seen.
What does the church have to do?
Your own children’s workers and other volunteers are asked to help set up and dismantle the exhibition, presenters are trained and given the opportunity to build relationships with their local primary schools. Volunteers participate in training, and receive ongoing support from Counties staff throughout the week.
How much does it cost?
Your preparations to host Life Exhibition will begin at least 6 months prior to the booking. Life Exhibition is FREE to the schools, because it is funded by churches working together with Counties. However, it costs approximately £2250 per week to bring Life Exhibition to your area! Which is why the expected minimum donation from hosting churches is £1,400 per booking - that’s a substantial discount of the cost.
When can we book?
We are currently taking bookings up to a year in advance, but we do sometimes have cancellations or quiet weeks, so please do contact us if you are interested in an earlier date. For those in poverty, in areas of the UK facing deprivation, where groups of churches are unable to afford the cost by working together, a bursary grant may be possible. Please enquire at our office to find out more. You will be asked to demonstrate that you are in a disadvantaged area of the UK.
Host venues should already be in contact with the LIFE exhibition Co-ordinator and will have received a Church Pack and additional printed literature.
There will be ongoing contact where you can work though any questions you may have, but you may find some of our downloads useful if you don’t already have copies.
We value prayer support for the ongoing work of the LIFE exhibition. A prayer diary and information about other COUNTIES resources is available on the COUNTIES website.

In the last few years LIFE has visited venues from Glasgow to Bodmin, Kings Lynn to Belfast, Cardiff to Chichester . . .
Are you interested in finding out more about hosting LIFE?
This page should give you a good overview, however the best way to get any specific questions answered is by ringing our Co-ordinator, Kevin Baldwin on 07968 705623.
LIFE is aimed at two different audiences. During the day, the exhibition is open for Key Stage 2 schoolchildren – that’s those in primary school years 5 and 6, or ages 9 to 11. The exhibition is hosted by a local church (or churches) who invite primary classes to visit during the day.
In the evening, LIFE is usually open to the general public.
The exhibition requires around 20 volunteers to be available at some point during the week, and a reasonable amount of flexible space. There’s usually a minimum lead time of 4-6 months to plan a LIFE visit, and the LIFE support staff will be on call to help during this period. We provide a site survey, information packs, full training and help with publicising the event in your local area.
There is a financial commitment in hosting the resource, but if this is a concern please do get in touch, or this aspect can be discussed with you when the co-ordinator visits to meet you and carry out a site survey.
We would not wish to rule a venue out purely for financial reasons!
If you like further or more detailed information, please feel free to contact our friendly Co-ordinator, Kevin Baldwin, by email or by ringing 07968 705623.
If you would like to see the Exhibition in use, a diary of future locations is available.
