Phil & Sheila Davies - S Wales

My heart is to share Jesus wherever I can though preaching, teaching and 'by any means' including many forms of visual commuication. I am mainly focused on schools, universities, youth, churches and in particular small fellowships.

Family

I am married to Sheila and we have four children - Becky - who has recently married Matthew, Sarah, Catriona and Nathan.

Work

I love teaching and sharing the Bible and have a passion to disciple and mentor the next generation to walk with the authentic Jesus - 'preparing God's people for works of service'. I love kids clubs, youth camps and Youth Events. I am now teaching part of the 'One to Lead' course - developing new leaders. Through the past 6 years with Counties we have particularly focused on schools work through assemblies, lessons, Bible Explorer, LIFE project and GSUS Live across the city. Recently I have cut this back to the most local schools seeking to develop a more in depth work in each schools. Recently we have increased the amount of time working with Dunvant Christian Fellowship where I am part of the leadership team; focusing on Discipleship, Care and Mission.

Rebuilding the Roads

Apart from leading the teaching / preaching in Dunvant a few times a month I am also out speaking most Sundays around the South West Wales area. I love in particular taking churches / youth groups away for weekends.My desire is to 'Rebuild the roads, rebuild the walls, rebuild the ruins'. I am also part of the Show Jesus and Royal Welsh Show team.

Apart from the above I am a keen rugby supporter (Wales & Ospreys) - occassional player nowadays, play guitar and love to read.
