Ivor & Angela Cooper - Warwickshire

Hi, I’m Ivor Cooper based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. I’m married to Angela and we have two married daughters and three grandchildren.

When I left school I trained as a production engineer but at the age of 23 my life went in a radically different direction and since then I’ve been involved in helping people of all ages connect with Jesus Christ who is transforming me.

In Warwickshire

I regularly preach and teach in about a dozen churches in Coventry & Warwickshire. These opportunities range from a single event through to working longer term developing programmes aimed at sharing the Christian message. It’s a real privilege to work alongside so many different churches. Relationships have been built over many years and I’m often humbled by the confidence that these congregations have in me!

With Counties

I serve on a couple of groups that oversee the Counties exhibitions, GSUS Live and LIFE. We are constantly assessing their use and effectiveness. I really enjoy thinking creatively and trying to develop new ways to communicate truth. Counties is always willing to consider and, where appropriate, invest in new ways of sharing the good news of Jesus.

At Myton Church

Myton Church is a fairly large, growing church on the Warwick/Leamington border. I give one day a week to help the church in evangelism. One of my main roles is to equip and enable individuals to be more effective in sharing their faith from Monday to Saturday. Helping all Christians to see themselves as ‘full-time-Christian-workers’ is, I believe, an essential task!
