David & Katie Symons - North Devon

A few years ago, having spent some time abroad working with Operation Mobilisation, David felt the Lord call him to serve Him in North Devon, where he was bought up.

He is now involved in different types of ministry but focuses is on working with local churches to reach people with the gospel and to encourage Christians in the region to share their faith.

Evangelistic Bible study course - a simple 5 week course looking at creation, what’s wrong with the world, Jesus (who he is and why he came), how to be become a Christian and how to begin to live life as a Christian. Informal in style, open for discussion, with an emphasis on commitment to follow Jesus.

‘How to share our faith’ Training Course to help Christians in their witness. This three session practical course looks at why we need to share our faith, who do we share our faith with, and how can we share our faith.

Preaching in local churches.

North Devon College: involved 3 times a week helping with the Christian Union activities; supporting the Christian students and helping them reach out.

Market stall outreach at Pannier Market, Barnstaple, every Tuesday. A great way to meet those who are seeking.

Involvement in Grosvenor Church Barnstaple. Helping to lead a small group and with children’s and youth work.
