1.How did you first hear about Counties?
Through one of our elders at my home church.
2.Why did you apply for training?
Because I believe Counties vision to match that of my own, quite simply to build God's Kingdom.
3.What were you doing previously?
Missionary work in Russia.
4.Describe some of your most helpful placements.
Spending a week with Gordon Curley whilst he had GSUS Live was very useful in terms of seeing the exhibition in action but also spending time with Gordon and his family. I also enjoyed a day with Jonathan Brain on his market stall and spending time with Martin Buckley and the Life Exhibition.
5.How has your relationship with your Mentor worked out in practice?
Very well, we meet most weeks.
6.Why do you think Trainees need to be teachable and what have been the hardest lessons for you?
We all need to be teachable, all the time! Don’t know about hard lessons, not sure there were any really, I enjoy learning and changing where necessary.
7.Describe on of the Training Days you attended?
All the days have been thought provoking, helped me perhaps think about different issues.
8.How have you worked with local churches?
As a servant, encouraging and equipping others for evangelism.
9.What is your Personal Mission Statement?
To partner with local churches in reaching the communities to North Devon with the life changing message of the gospel.
10.What are the benefits of having an effective Counties Link Group?
Extremely helpful in terms of prayer support, advice, guidance and lightening the load by doing some administrative tasks.
