Do you have a calling to work in evangelism?
Have a heart for sharing the Gospel?
Looking for connections and fellowship?
Counties can help! Counties evangelists work in a wide variety of settings – churches, schools, online chat-rooms, prisons, market stalls, camps, pubs and agricultural shows.
They come from a variety of backgrounds – some have been teachers, painters, engineers, farmers and chefs – but all have sensed a personal calling to develop their evangelistic ministry using their God-given gifts.
As a Counties evangelist, you will receive:
- Prayer support
- Appropriate training and mentoring
- A monthly gift (as funds allow)
- Pastoral support for you and your family
- Encouragement through conferences and workshops
- Accountability through local groups
We offer training and mentoring for those who believe God is calling them to be an evangelist.
This includes providing placements with an experienced evangelist, offering training on practical and theological aspects of Christian ministry and providing support from the local community through a Counties Link Group (CLG). A CLG comprises leaders and members of local churches who support the evangelist and help shape a county-wide ministry of evangelism. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org
"Counties provides me with a network of like-minded individuals who understand the calling of an evangelist."
Ivor Cooper, Warwickshire evangelist
"If God is calling you to be an evangelist – consider Counties. I have support through a local group and a caring family of Counties evangelists as well as advice from the Counties office. After 27 years with Counties, I would not want to be anywhere else."
Mike Strange, Somerset evangelist
"Probably one of the greatest privileges anyone has in the Christian faith is leading someone to faith in Jesus Christ. As Counties evangelists we regularly have that privilege."
Rob Watson, Wirral evangelist.
