| A Fresh Start |
|
Welcome to our new look website which launches our new logo, strap-line and other publications. If you are a ‘friend of Counties’ who has walked with us over a significant number of our 110 years, we hope you will enjoy the contemporary style of our new designs. A fresh start! Our new strap-line includes an emphasis on the ‘Life in all its fullness’ which Jesus came to bring (John 10 v10). There is a new dimension to life, another quality of life that people have never contemplated or experienced until they meet Jesus. A fresh challenge! We celebrate God’s goodness in the past, but want to be increasingly effective in connecting Praise and Prayer guide. Will you join them by either requesting that we send you a copy by post, by with each new generation of partners and pray-ers. Of several thousand readers of Counties we currently have around two hundred who are committed to praying with us daily using our email or by downloading one from this website? A fresh identity! When our publications look tired or lack quality and cohesion it suggests that we are being careless. Not only is our own reputation at stake, but as ambassadors of Christ (entrusted with a glorious message), the poor quality of our ‘medium’ could detract from our lavish ‘message’. A fresh commitment! Evangelism, evangelism and evangelism are our continuing priorities!! Whether through Evangelists or Evangelism Training or Evangelistic Resources, we are making a renewed commitment to make a gospel difference - both locally and nationally. A fresh opportunity! One retailer boasts, “Click-click, knockknock”. Our new website provides many new exciting opportunities including: up-to-date news items; training resources; ways of partnering; evangelist profiles; downloadable talks and many other fascinating and useful resources. A fresh vision? The prophet Isaiah records his personal vision of the Lord and his whole-hearted response to it in Isaiah 6. “I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” May the Lord, by his grace, give us all (readers, supporters and evangelists) fresh vision of His glory; a renewed calling to serve Him, and a daily commitment to obey, “Here am I, send me!”. |
